Here comes Santa Clause...

We went to some friends house Friday night for their annual Christmas party and they had Santa and Mrs. Clause.

He was the best Santa I have ever seen! His beard was even real.
And my daughter totally surprised us and actually loved Santa. She went back over to him 3 or 4 times throughout the night. Go figure.......I guess there is just something "off" about Chuck E Cheese that terrifies her to no end!

I had to add this, as I found it too amusing!!
Enjoy Moms...

Dear Santa,
I've been a good mom all year. I've fed, cleaned and cuddled my children on demand,
visited the doctor's office more than my doctor
and sold sixty-two cases of candy bars to raise money to plant a shade tree on the school playground.
I was hoping you could spread my list out over several Christmases, since I had to write this letter with my son's red crayon, on the back of a receipt in the laundry room between cycles, and who knows when I'll find anymore free time in the next 18years.

Here are my Christmas wishes:

I'd like a pair of legs that don't ache (in any color, except purple, which I already have)
and arms that don't hurt or flap in the breeze, but are strong enough to pull my screaming child out of the candy aisle in the grocery store.
I'd also like a waist, since I lost mine somewhere in the seventh month of my last pregnancy.
If you're hauling big ticket items this year I'd like fingerprint resistant windows and a radio that only plays adult music,
a television that doesn't broadcast any programs containing talking animals,
and a refrigerator with a secret compartment behind the crisper where I can hide to talk on the phone.
On the practical side, I could use a talking doll that says,"Yes, Mommy" to boost my parental confidence,
along with two kids who don't fight
and three pairs of jeans that will zip all the way up without the use of power tools.
I could also use a recording of Tibetan monks chanting "Don't eat in the living room" and "Take your hands off your brother," because my voice seems to be just out of my children's hearing range and can only be heard by the dog.
If it's too late to find any of these products, I'd settle for enough time to brush my teeth and comb my hair in the same morning,
or the luxury of eating food warmer than room temperature without it being served in a Styrofoam container.

If you don't mind, I could also use a few Christmas miracles to brighten the holiday season.
Would it be too much trouble to declare ketchup a vegetable?
It will clear my conscience immensely.
It would be helpful if you could coerce my children to help around the house without demanding payment as if they were the bosses of an organized crime family.

Well, Santa, the buzzer on the dryer is calling and my son saw my feet under the laundry room door.
I think he wants his crayon back.
Have a safe trip and remember to leave your wet boots by the door and come in and dry off so you don't catch cold.
Help yourself to cookies on the table but don't eat too many or leave crumbs on the carpet.

Yours Always, MOM...

P.S. One more thing...you can cancel all my requests if you can keep my children young enough to believe in Santa.

Mr. J's Room

Jackson got a new paint job and some new accessories. He also got some new bookshelves to help with organization.

He really likes the shelves. You can't see, but the bottom shelf has buckets for toys, art supplies, etc.

He loves these stick on cars. When I got them up on the wall he told me they were "cool because they had their angry eyes on."

Miss. Macie's Room

Okay, so I know it took forever to get this post but look how cute her room is and you will forget about that!

Her fairy princess painting. Love it =)
Her table and chairs. Jackson and Macie literally will sit here and play for 45 min. to an hour. They love it. It is so cute to peek around the corner and they are playing and talking to each other, and "cooking" each other food. Every time we ask Macie what she is making, it is always "gop." No clue, but whatever it is it must be delicious to her. She must make 5-6 batches a day!!

She has cute little sayings stenciled in various places around the room.

Her big girl princess bed! She loves it!

Rub-a-Dub-Dub, Too Many Kiddos in the Tub!

I know I am a little late posting, but................We got to keep my neice, Emilee for a weekend awhile back. Jackson and Macie loved having her stay with us. Jackson and Em are pretty funny together. They thought it was hilarious to chase each other around the living room over and over again! We took the kids to see Wall-E and to Chuck E Cheese. We had a great time =)

Here is all the kiddos in the tub...

Don't you love Macie's face here...

I'm Back !!!!

It's official......I am back and hopefully will do a good job keeping up! Life just got kinda crazy busy for a bit. I have gotten quite a few things accomplished that I have been wanting to do for a good while. Macie now has a big girl girly girl room, and I LoVe it!! She has done wonderful in her big girl bed. I am charging my camera batteries or I would post some pics. I will try to get some up asap. Onto our handsome little man...Jax got a room makeover too. It is re-painted, in blue still, but now it is fauxed (not sure if that is a word, but you get my drift.) He also got two much needed bookshelves for some serious organization. He really likes his "new room" too! I will do my best to get some pics of the kiddos bedrooms up this weekend.

I hate entries with no pics, so here is Miss. Thang to hold you over till this weekend!

Spider-Man and the Girly Girl!

Jackson just cheesin' it up!
The real Spider-Man better watch out, he has some serious competition at the McCool house. This little boy is officially obsessed with him!

In this pic, I just said smile Jax, and he responded with, "No Mom, I am Peter Parker!"

Macie trying out 2 bows. A little over kill I know. But she is still too cute!

Showin' me her teeth. We now have 6, finally!

Our baby is 18 months!!

It's official....our baby girl is a year and a half old. I still haven't decided if I am happy and excited or just sad that time is flying by. She is quite the little character these days though. She is sassy and sweet, and needless to say she lives up to her nickname, "The Princess."
Her two favorite things right now are Jackson and her babies. She loves her brother. I always said I couldn't wait for them to start playing together, and let me tell you how cute it is!! She pretty much follows Jax around like a lost puppy. And you better believe if he can do something, so can she!

She is such a doll and so much fun. As many of you know, we were kind of surprised with a girl. Thank goodness for that! We couldn't imagine our family any other way. Hope you enjoy seeing a few of her pics, as much as we enjoy her.
